Sidebar view menu: expose compact workspace list and check density choices

The sidebar’s view menu offers a checkable Compact Workspace List option beside the density choices. It exposes the existing sidebar.workspacesAsTabs prototype from #23404, off by default in DEV/NIGHTLY. The selected density remains visible with a checkmark.

Leo’s requested behavior, quoted in the existing prototype test:

“a Claude-desktop-style compact list (one line per workspace, title + status/PR badge + needs-you icon; no second line). ⌘⇧[ and ⌘⇧] move to the previous/next workspace in sidebar order, wrapping, across groups, like switching tabs.”

The existing rendering and scoped shortcuts are reused. Toggle-off restores pane tab shortcuts; Home retains its keys. Manual order, working spinners, and density cards remain unchanged. The base update preserves the upstream retirement of Show Tabs Under Workspaces (74d73a32d071), and the live density tool now checks the workspace-only sidebar. Risk is limited to menu availability/checkmarks and the opt-in prototype.

Validation

  • App compile passed at f71c262c (91 seconds); the final commit changes only the Python capture tool.
  • ActionSurfaceParityTests and LinkExportTests: 14 passed on the updated catalog; all three generated exports match the committed copies byte for byte.
  • Earlier WorkspacesAsTabsTests: 7 passed. Additional menu/navigation suites are running against the identical Swift code and tests at f71c262c.
  • Independent Astra high/fast review: SHIP at 24ecfd5e187b95c5cbb6a3c71c650148dc7b0668, receipt https://github.com/manaflow-ai/cmux/pull/27883#issuecomment-6552269255. Both reported blockers are fixed.
  • New action title includes all nine required macOS translations.
