cmux NEXT: palette search field and rows grow with large text (Fixes #26606)

The command palette's search field, result rows, headers, footer and keycaps grow with large interface text while retaining the density's padding. Long search placeholders fit on one line with an ellipsis; scope chips and footer buttons reserve their label padding. An open palette refreshes its existing rows when text size changes.

Validation

Head: 0f3230299166eb6d1a3e73dceacf21335f974083. Ordinary conflict-free merge of base b93dcfbc826d96350409ab7772c6639a9c3ac9bf; all eight palette files are unchanged from the previously reviewed head. Independent exact-head correctness review: SHIP.

  • Red before the fix: regression commit 09ddd6a, fleet step f44175da, recorded 43 issues for clipped labels and the long placeholder.
  • Green on exact head 0f3230299166eb6d1a3e73dceacf21335f974083: fleet step 524fac1ac16afd9514c22b41, aws-m4pro-7, all six suites passed (21 tests); workspace cleanup confirmed. Coverage includes every density at 16 and 20 pt, placeholder fitting, chip/footer widths, and live resizing of Search and populated command rows.
  • Current-head pre-push gate, eight-file Swift syntax check and CI's cmux-next static checks passed. No local native compilation or test ran.

Observed / Not run

Exact-head tagged fleet build issue-26606-palette-large-text, job d00fd7208f536d08d891d589, completed and is published at Tag Opener. Tag and registry verified; artifact SHA-256 03174666725856d875c86b18714d424c0b6f7c196a823733d9b2cb81d46df4f5; workspace cleanup confirmed. It uses an explicit local backend for this desktop-only change. To try it, open Commands or Search, increase interface text to 16 or 20 pt, and check that the field and rows grow without clipping.

The exact-head app compiler also passed (f17c67f24fd75d48f159c5ef, app linked and cmux-tui checked). Its CI reporter timed out after submitting that durable job; the reporter is not claimed as a green check, and GitHub refuses its rerun until the parent workflow ends. No task-tagged app is running locally. Superseded failed-build tag issue-26606-palette-text-sizing has no local backend state to stop; its data/registration were preserved.

No capture: real-app capture was attempted with earlier build c98a4787953dc67854673e7d at 889865aba6e1d947e7b740f1ad975811aeba3156. The driver reported a visible PalettePanel, but the stills showed the underlying Home view. Upload also refused a missing canonical agent-author privacy list; that protection was preserved. Faithful full-app visual confirmation remains unverified. Alternative breadcrumb/header styles and expanded actions/shortcut-recorder layouts lack explicit large-text assertions.
