fix(agent-chat): compact received messages and quiet queued delivery
Received agent messages now start as one-line strips in both display modes. Expanding shows their full Markdown on the transcript's existing glass, without another bordered bubble. Queued delivery labels occupy normal flow before their hover actions; Edit, Delete and Send now keep their existing handlers. Narrow and zoomed headers wrap controls instead of collapsing the disclosure to zero width.
Leo, 2026-10-27: "this stuff that's queued up, it's not great" and "when they send the message to you, it's kind of strange as well." His earlier explicit default: "minimized from the start. Just one line."
The selected gallery treatment is a compact strip with a plain queued caption and unboxed expansion. Alternatives compare a clock, a pill and the former filled card. Reference: Claude's received message transcript; the latest compact default follows Leo's words. Design contract: leo-workspace#1296.

Coordination: #26096 owns removal of RowFrame's duplicate floating Copy and obsolete 28px gutter; this change adds only the queued message's one in-flow Copy. #26368 owns raw-event shell/session classification. The gallery snapshot does not claim to reproduce the upstream classification bug. Supersedes the received-row styling portion of #25188.
Validation: the new default/estimator regression failed 3 cases on base, then passed. Focused message/queue unit tests: 18 pass, 0 fail (one browser-only skip). Real Chromium: preview 5/5, anchored fold 4/4, received/queued geometry 4/4 across dark/light and 760px/360px at 125% zoom. Full web check passes, including typecheck of 2,884 files. Existing anchored-collapse cleanup and Reduce Motion behavior are retained; no new animation or row scan is added. Hidden received bodies no longer need a ResizeObserver or Markdown height estimate.
Visual evidence uses real Chromium gallery captures of fixture content. The before arm is source 58bce797c9a84b42f3de1088fcd495fa18768f55 with only the new fixture overlaid; the after arm was recaptured from committed head a887e254b2786fe3a8dbbb9f1d83ec3bd330bf9a. These captures precede #26096’s separate gutter fix; final combined acceptance follows that landing.

Hosted focused verification passed 31 tests across 7 files at exact source head a887e254b2786fe3a8dbbb9f1d83ec3bd330bf9a (snapshot 059f40ddd3b81ade406ebbac2a84f15a080d322f, same source tree 97d38919b6227519f1344943883160f5d31ebf08).
Final head 2a7ce36edff1715e832e7d3ba3b4a9868729746e includes migration of the remaining received-message geometry/gallery expectations and copies queued message.text rather than its hidden raw envelope. Two independent Astra xhigh reviews were SHIP at production head 68800a7c439c6eb39796185cc28b3b146c1dd450; the last commit is test-only.
The expanded hosted suite ran 79 tests at 68800a7c: 78 passed; the one stale image assertion expected images before opening the new collapsed strip. Final head corrects that expectation. The targeted real Chromium image case passes (1/1), and full web check passes at final head. The preceding seven-file hosted pass remains prior-head evidence, not a claim that the expanded suite passed unchanged.
