jsonwebtoken still uses SlowBuffer and is thus incompatible with Node.js 26 (SlowBuffer was removed): https://github.com/auth0/node-jsonwebtoken/issues/992
Use https://npmx.dev/package/fast-jwt instead of https://npmx.dev/package/jsonwebtoken.
https://npmx.dev/package/jose is way bigger only has async APIs
