What this image does not prove by itself: #36864's tests run cmux-host in-process, not on a guest. The proof is on a real machine after the bake: on staging, a claimed warm spare (a second create in a personal team), then a chat at once. That proof records the guest's own cmux --version / acpmux --version hashes, read on the guest over exec, separately from the app's build. The platform half of the warm-claim fix is cmux-platform#909 (a pre-pause socket takes no chat; a chat not started goes down the next socket). The chaos suite's resume-then-chat case (cmuxterm-hq#7325) is the live check once the image is on staging.
Next: pin PR lands → one bake at its merge commit (cloud-demo dispatches, probes=false as for cloud-native-8c00572) → cmux-vm approve (older images stay listed) → dev and staging CLOUD_VM_API_IMAGE flip with #909 and #907 → the staging proof above → prod.
