What changed

Bring your history now opens a polished, icon-backed source chooser that scans the usual export locations after the page is opened. Detected Claude Code, Codex, Claude memory, ChatGPT/Claude archives, Dot exports, and known Grok Bot, Muse, Dots, and Instinct data hints are marked as found and selected. The manual zip picker remains available for archives the scan cannot see, and the empty Dot picker row is gone.

Rows use the shared agent marks, paste summaries expand inline for assistants without an export API, and the gallery covers list, cards, compact, detection, import, done, error, and empty states. A focused gallery contrast guard checks the canonical light/dark semantic token pairs against WCAG AA.

Leo's request: “also this is ugly... and that bottom clickable thing like we ought to be able to autodetect paths and such... and also have icons/pics for things” and “just make sure that we never have white text on white button or dark text on dark button etc”.

Validation

  • Page model tests and webview typecheck/lint run through cmux-ci at this PR head.
  • Gallery light/dark capture run through cmux-ci at this PR head.
  • Chief memory cargo tests run through cmux-ci at this PR head.
  • Fresh-home launch verification is required by the Chief-area landing checklist and is requested for the fleet Mac review.

The reference index has no ChatGPT-specific import/onboarding capture. The default list follows their compact single-column layout, aligned icons and quiet outlined actions; cards and compact layouts remain gallery variants. Design: design/chief-pages.md semantic token contract.
