What changes

A turn's footer (TurnRows.tsx TurnFooter) used to draw its summary ("Worked for 5s", "You stopped after 40s") and Continue in front of Copy, Retry, Fork, Pin, Read aloud and More. So the buttons moved right whenever a turn had a label. Now the button group always comes first and its first glyph sits on the prose's left edge (the existing :first-child inset rule). The label and Continue come after it, then the age. Nothing is removed; only the order changes. The CSS comment that described the old order is updated.

Design spec: leo-workspace design/chat-transcript.md (the action row's first glyph is on the prose's left edge).

Test

bun test src/agent-session/acpmux/conversation/TurnFooter.test.tsx -t "buttons lead": fails on base 1d9e66e31ce3, passes on this head.

Observed / Not run

  • Ran TurnFooter, ContinueAfterStop, footerActions and presentationRow tests: 25 pass, 1 fail. The failing test is "an empty footer adds no line and still fits its hover controls", which fails the same way on base (#31475 fixes it).
  • Locally, bun can't resolve ./paneNotices on the base tip because #31494 adds PaneNotices.tsx next to paneNotices.ts. To run the tests above I renamed that file in my local tree only; the change is not committed.
  • web-lint (fast part) passed. The type-aware lint and type check are left to CI on this host.
  • No screenshots (gallery-compare not run).
