Cause

698b3ef64cf added side to new-pane-right in cmux-tui/spec/sdk-schema.json (New Column Left) without rerunning scripts/cmux-next/gen-phone-lane-fields.py. DaemonLanePolicy+Fields.generated.swift has been stale on feat-cmux-next since then, and "cmux-next checks" prints stale: ... (run scripts/cmux-next/gen-phone-lane-fields.py) on every PR. Until #27284 landed, the generated-files guard also refused any PR that regenerated it.

Fix

This PR is only the generator's output: python3 -I scripts/cmux-next/gen-phone-lane-fields.py, a one-line change that adds side to new-pane-right's row in the generated table. Phones still can't send it: DaemonLanePolicy.creationFields takes precedence for new-pane-right and doesn't list side (found in review), so this changes no behavior; it only clears the drift. side is a plain string (left or right) saying which side the new column opens on. It chooses no program, directory or environment, so it is outside the fields the lane keeps denied (PROGRAM_FIELDS), and the generator needed no new type review.

The generated-files guard passes because #27284 gave this generator a check: the regeneration matches what the generator writes from the base's own inputs.

Risk: low. One allowlist row for a daemon field that already ships.

Evidence

No capture: no UI changes. This is one row in the phone lane's request-field allowlist, a generated table with no view code.

  • run 40835692781 (Linux): gen-phone-lane-fields.py --check exits 1 (stale:) on base 621568b3. Running the generator produces exactly this diff, and --check then exits 0.
