ui(chat): dim background transcript activity
Leo asked for the transcript to follow Claude Code's hierarchy: “the text should be a bit lighter… so you can have a better separation between, okay, this is the transcript, this is the message that you sent versus these are the tool calls that ran in the background… which should include the messages, I think.”
This PR gives background activity one shared secondary tone while keeping prompts and assistant replies primary:
- tool-call rows, Worked for / previous-message folds, and their icons use
--cv-activity-text; - received peer rows, sender chips, icons, and expanded message bubbles use the same token;
- sent agent-message cards use the same secondary treatment;
- hover and focus lift the affected activity back to primary without changing geometry;
- the selected 58% foreground mix stays readable in light and dark themes, with gallery arms at 52% and 64% for comparison.
The gallery adds three variants on one mixed fixture (activity-tone-secondary, activity-tone-tertiary, activity-tone-readable) for capture in both palettes. No layout, collapse, spacing, font or default behavior changes.
Validation:
bun test webviews/src/agent-session/acpmux/conversation/activityTone.test.ts(2 passed locally)- The earlier focused run
40777452304was cancelled before tests and supplies no verification. - A fleet Chromium gallery run is verifying actual received Markdown paragraphs/headings and hover restoration in all three tone arms. Captures are pending.
