What

At 480px (the gallery's narrow width) the split view's 270px session list left the detail about 210px. The detail header's title, status and three buttons couldn't wrap, so the title went one word per line ("Book / the / team / offsite") and Watch ran off the edge.

  • .split columns are now clamp(200px, 46%, 270px) minmax(0, 1fr). The list gives up width first in a narrow page and is unchanged from about 590px up.
  • .detail header wraps. Its title (strong) keeps one line and ellipsizes, and the actions wrap under it, still pushed right by margin-left: auto.

At 1000px nothing moves.

Test

CMUX_BROWSER_TESTS=1 bun test test/agent-activity-split.test.ts (real Chromium). A small harness renders the gallery's own split fixture with the page's styles. At 480px and 1000px it checks that the title is one line and every action stays on screen. At 1000px it also checks that the header is one line.

  • Base (red commit): 480 fails with the title on 4 lines.
  • Head: 2 pass.

Observed / Not run

  • Observed: the test above, red then green. prepush-gate.py: no new violations. vp fmt --check and oxlint are clean.
  • Not run locally: bun run check and a gallery build, because heavy jobs moved off huge-blue.
  • Not this PR: the broken-image placeholder in the preview (fixtures have no frames). The lanes view's colors are noted for a separate pass.

Fixed: in a narrow pane, Agent Activity keeps the selected agent's title on one line with its actions on screen.
