feat(next): quieter group headers and the theme's group colors, as Debug choices (adopts #20645)
Summary
Adopts #20645 ("quieter sidebar group headers", owner gone, about 3,600 commits behind) as one commit on current feat-cmux-next. Both choices are Debug Settings tunables, off by default, so nothing changes until someone picks them:
sidebar.groupHeader: the header as the solid band (default, today's look), the name with the group's color line, a tinted name, or a faint wash. The quiet looks show the group's color as the dot where its members' line starts; hover, the open editor and a drop take the row's own fill.sidebar.groupColors: each group color from the theme's palette (dot, members' line, band, drag lift, editor swatches) instead of the fixed palette (default).
The one conflict (GroupHeaderRowView) is resolved to base's geometry: the bar fills its row and shares the row corner radius (base's later header work), and the quiet looks only hide the bar. cx-7yywz.
#21999 ("group header and line follow Chrome") is not ported: it conflicts in 19 files with base's header rework since; see the comment there.
Testing
GroupHeaderThemeLookTests (from #20645) and the existing SidebarGroupChromeLookTests, on the fleet at this head: recorded in a comment when they finish.
Observed / Not run
- Not run:
prepush-gate.py(the branch was assembled on huge-blue, whose checkout is sparse); CI'scmux-next checkscovers it. - Not run: a live look in a tagged build; gallery not added.

Summary by cubic
Adopts #20645 (quieter sidebar group headers, owner gone, 3.6k commits behind) as one commit on feat-cmux-next. Both behaviors are Debug Settings choices, off by default:
sidebar.groupHeader: the solid band (default), the name with the group's color line, a tinted name, or a faint wash; quiet looks show the group's color as the dot where its members' line starts.sidebar.groupColors: takes each group color from the theme's palette instead of the fixed palette (default).
The GroupHeaderRowView conflict is resolved to base's geometry: the bar fills its row and shares the row corner radius, and quiet looks only hide the bar. A follow-up makes quiet headers draw the member count dim like the band and drops an unused disclosure frame. #21999 is not ported; it conflicts with base's header rework in 19 files.
