cmux-next: native chat notices sit below the shared tab row
When a chat's tools share its pane's tab row, the pane lays the chat over the strip. Two native notices were pinned 8 points below the chat's top, so they sat under the tabs:
- remote approvals off
- another install's acpmux
The chat now has a tab-row cover guide (NSView.tabRowCover). It is as tall as the row while the chat's tools are in it, and 0 otherwise. AgentPaneTabRow.offer sets it on every pane layout, and both notices pin 8 points below it.
Follow-up (2) from the pane-toolbar brief (#22655). It does not depend on #22758 (narrow-pane fit).
Changelog
Fixed: A chat's "remote approvals off" and "other install" notices are no longer hidden under the tab strip.
Tests
package-test-lane.sh suite Packages/macOS/CmuxNext PaneTabRowCoverTests on the fleet:
- test commit 9af841c7 (red): does not compile,
value of type 'NSView' has no member 'tabRowCover' - head 7fb8b0a2 (green):
PaneTabRowCoverTests passed, All 1 suites passed (aws-m4pro-4)
Observed / Not run
- Review: the first pass found a compile error (a String constraint identifier); fixed in 7fb8b0a2.
- Ran: prepush gate (no new violations) and the focused fleet suite above.
- Not run: a live capture of either notice in a tagged build. Both need a remote or second-install daemon to appear.
