Why

Release the automatic update support merged in #359. The published version is still 1.26.25, so the publish and release workflows skip until package.json carries a new version.

Summary

  • Bump firecrawl-cli from 1.26.25 to 1.27.0. This is a minor release because it adds the firecrawl update command and background updates for global installations.

Test Plan

  • Built and packed this branch, then installed the tarball globally into clean npm, pnpm, and bun locations. Each firecrawl bin resolves to dist/launcher.js, firecrawl --version prints 1.27.0 with nothing on stderr, and firecrawl scrape https://example.com succeeds.
  • Checked that every module reachable from dist/launcher.js and dist/index.js is in the tarball and every external import is a declared dependency.
  • Installed 1.26.25 from npm globally, then installed this tarball over it with npm and with pnpm. The bin moves from dist/index.js to dist/launcher.js with no stale entry left behind, and commands run on 1.27.0.
  • firecrawl update reports that 1.27.0 is up to date and the background check leaves command output unchanged.
  • Built the Linux x64 binary with scripts/build-binaries.sh linux; --version, scrape, and update behave the same.
  • pnpm run test:update: 51 of 51 passed.
