Adds cli-tool/components/skills/web-development/shopify-firebase-app/: SKILL.md and three reference files. The skill helps an agent create and change a Shopify embedded app on Firebase with Nitrogen (npx @mksd0398/nitrogen): Cloud Functions gen 2 on Node.js 24 with one function per API resource, Firestore, Hosting and Secret Manager, single- or multi-tenant, and an admin UI of plain HTML pages built from Polaris web components and App Bridge, with no build step. SKILL.md covers what to ask the user for, scaffolding with flags, deploying, the changes agents most often miss (APIs, scopes, protected customer data, Firestore collections, pages, webhooks) and a table of failures. The references give each Polaris web component and App Bridge API a Nitrogen page can use, with an example, plus the guide that generated apps carry as AGENTS.md.

Disclosure: I made it. It is the skill from Nitrogen, my MIT-licensed project, with author and repo added to the frontmatter. For SkillSpector, the Polaris reference is split into an index (references/polaris.md) and one file per group, the generator banner is a visible credit line, and four HTML comments inside examples are now sentences beside them; what the skill tells an agent is unchanged. A local SkillSpector 2.12.0 run (--no-llm) scores it 42. It is also installable with npx skills add mksd0398/nitrogen. Nitrogen is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify or Google. Source: https://github.com/mksd0398/nitrogen

Catalog files are not included. scripts/validate_components.py passes for this skill (0 errors, 0 warnings).

Summary by cubic

Adds cli-tool/components/skills/web-development/shopify-firebase-app/, a new skill that guides agents in creating and modifying Shopify embedded apps on Firebase with Nitrogen. It covers scaffolding, the changes agents most often miss (APIs, scopes, webhooks, Firestore), and troubleshooting.

New Features

  • SKILL.md comes with three reference files: Polaris web components, App Bridge, and the generated apps' AGENTS.md guide.
  • Updates the App Bridge examples to Nitrogen 3.5.3, fixing .console.log() calls to use .show() again.
  • New component, so the catalog (docs/components.json) needs regeneration; scripts/validate_components.py passes with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
  • No new environment variables or secrets are required.
  • The skill is the author's own MIT-licensed Nitrogen project, unchanged except for author and repo in the frontmatter.
