Summary

The v2026.10.14 release-prepare commit (d7f17fe330, chore(ai): regenerate the model catalog) refreshed packages/ai/src/providers/data/opencode-go.json. The refresh dropped deepseek-v4-flash and deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp from OpenCode Go and added a model in a new google-generative-ai API group. Main has failed tsc since:

  • packages/ai/src/providers/opencode-go.ts(14,3) TS2322: the provider declared only the Anthropic Messages / OpenAI Completions / OpenAI Responses transports, so the typed catalog no longer fit.
  • packages/ai/test/supports-xhigh.test.ts(226,41) TS2345: the test pinned the removed deepseek-v4-flash id on opencode-go.

Fix

  • opencode-go.ts: register the google-generative-ai transport behind the same OpenCode session header, exactly as the OpenCode Zen provider (opencode.ts) already does. Models OpenCode Go serves over that API get a working transport instead of being filtered out.
  • supports-xhigh.test.ts: the removed-id case becomes a check that OpenCode Go's model in that group resolves to google-generative-ai with its low/medium/high levels.
  • packages/ai/CHANGELOG.md [Unreleased]: one Fixed line.

Release impact

Nothing broken was published: npm latest is still 2026.10.13 and no v2026.10.14 tag exists. The in-flight prepare run was cancelled before tagging; the release is re-dispatched after this merges.
