Summary

Slims ADR 0023 (entry-to-platform hop audit) to a decision record: 33.7 KB → 3.1 KB. Part of #4205: it removes 28 stale file-path citations so a later repo guard can require that every cited path exists. No behavior change.

Migration ledger

  • Ordered per-hop traces, per-file tables, fan-out and response-path lists, cold-start chain, growth history: removed. Status links the full old ADR at pinned commit 0e7df74a1a (byte-identical to main's file), so the evidence stays readable.
  • Counting unit, range and terminal calls, main-chain rule, exclusions, steady state: kept in Decision, without file paths.
  • Roles: one-role rule kept. Pass-through and translation definitions kept, because the deletion test depends on them. The pinned trace defines the other three.
  • Deletion test, results (41 / 47 / 49 → 46 / 48), the one endorsed hop (bindRuntimeCommands closure wrapper), and the out-of-ownership note: kept.
  • Rejected alternative and its reason (27 files for press): kept. The route-depth rule for new work stays in ADR 0022.
  • ADR 0019 and docs/adr/README.md now say the chains are at the pinned commit.

Wording drift

The endorsed hop is named by its function instead of the relative path commands/runtime-types.ts, which no longer resolves. The heading is "hop audit" instead of "end-state hop trace". All numbers, modality and scope are unchanged.

Validation

At 207b52dc09: pnpm check:affected --run --head 207b52dc09 passed with exactCommit=true. Doc prose and doc links pass. A Claude cross-provider sentence review found 8 issues; all are fixed in 207b52dc09.
