Summary

Carry the two remaining review fixes from #4099, which merged before they were pushed. This changes three files and adds no package or public API.

Explicitly await the deferred device-set restore, matching the owner facade and keeping completion handling correct if the leaf becomes asynchronous. The current leaf is synchronous, so runtime behavior is unchanged.

Restore the testing-document rules against deleting lock files and reporting a failing gate as passed. Remove an added test-routing sentence to keep docs/agents under its byte budget (39,857 bytes).

Validation

Tested head: 049adcf316283738b6578c2a068dd9fbbe1836cf.

  • pnpm check:affected --run --head 049adcf316 passed at the exact, unchanged head (run-WeHEpG, exactCommit: true, no checkout changes).
  • Frozen install and build passed. Apple-runner entry tests (20) and the agent-guidance contract (5) passed.
  • The same content passed earlier as cb36e38dfd (run-bc8ibi) on the pre-merge branch; this head is rebased onto current main and has its own receipt.
  • No device run: the restore leaf and device dispatch are unchanged. CI owns remote integration, coverage, and device lanes.
