Summary

Review follow-up to #3868 (non-blocking note). After a backend switch rebases the post-gesture baseline, the loop trusts the next quiet pair. This adds a capture-kit test where the effect lands after the rebase: the loop must keep polling and settle on the moved surface, with no no-effect claim and no stale accept. It also pins staleAccepts === 0 in the backend-flip scroll test, which no longer reaches the veto by structure.

2 test files, no production change.

Validation

  • pnpm check:affected --run --head 42e59e5028: passed.
  • The new test fails if the loop settles on the rebased pair itself.
