Why

Basecamp sends who completed a to-do, card or subtask, and when, as completion. The SDK didn't model it, so the CLI's --json output had "completion": null, "completer": null and "completed_at": null on every completed item. basecamp-sdk#1033 fixes that in the SDK. This pins the CLI to it.

What changed

  • Pin basecamp-sdk at 63115e79, the #1033 merge, with scripts/bump-sdk.sh.
  • Re-vendor the MCP model from that commit with scripts/sync-mcp-model.sh.

Scope

  • No CLI code changes. The human-readable output does not show the completer yet.
  • The built-in MCP server already returned response bodies verbatim, so it gains only the updated schema docs.

Verification

  • make test passes.
  • cards show 10329974547 -j on a completed card: main gives "completion": null, this branch gives Rob Zolkos at 2026-10-22T22:33:43.774Z, with completer and completed_at matching.
  • todos show on a completed to-do: main gives null, this branch gives the completer and time.

Summary by cubic

Pins github.com/basecamp/basecamp-sdk/go to commit 63115e79, which models who completed a to-do, card, or subtask and when. --json output previously reported "completion": null, "completer": null, and "completed_at": null on every completed item; it now shows the completer and time.

No CLI code changes. The MCP model is re-vendored from the same commit, so the built-in MCP server gains the updated RecordingCompletion schema. The Nix vendor hash is updated for the new pin. Note completer and completed_at are deprecated in the SDK in favor of completion.creator and completion.created_at.
