The caret that the plan types behind wasn't visible. The writing dot and the fresh-section tint weren't either.
All three paint with var(--accent). That variable is only set by a [data-state] ancestor (base.css), which session rows carry and the plan document does not. With it unset, background resolved to nothing. The fix sets --accent: var(--voice-luke) on .plan-document-scroll. The caret placement in plan-reveal.ts was already right.
No test: this is a CSS custom property that was never set, which no unit test observes.
CI could not verify this. It's a Mac UI change and CI builds nothing for the Mac. It hasn't had a ./scripts/verify.sh run yet.
