Summary

  • remove the sidekiq['max_concurrency'] setting removed in GitLab 17.0
  • retain the existing supported sidekiq['concurrency'] homelab value

Validation

  • boilerplates compose validate gitlab --semantic --kind
  • confirmed the library contains no remaining Sidekiq min_concurrency or max_concurrency settings

Removes the deprecated GitLab Sidekiq setting sidekiq['max_concurrency'] to align with GitLab 17.0. Previously we set both; now we rely only on sidekiq['concurrency'] to avoid startup warnings/errors.

  • Only change: delete sidekiq['max_concurrency'] from compose/gitlab/files/config/gitlab.rb.
  • Homelab behavior unchanged; sidekiq['concurrency'] = 1 remains.
  • No migration required; restart GitLab to apply. Optional: run boilerplates compose validate gitlab --semantic --kind.
